PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Atomic Coffee Bar is opening a chain of drive-thru coffee stands in Davenport, IA, and I had the pleasure of working with them to establish their initial branding. There are many ways to interpret ‘Atomic’ and we decided to avoid the obvious imagery of bombs, mushroom clouds, and atoms. Instead I developed a visually striking logo based on Atomic-Era gas station signage, which complimented their drive-thru stands, and played to drivers getting their ‘fuel’. It’s instantly recognizable, and very different from their competitors branding. The simple-yet-striking color palette works in any medium, and again stands out from their competitors. Atomic Coffee Bar is thrilled with their new image, and it’s been a really fun project.
